Automatic Doors Tip of the Week

Automatic doors are like small children in the 1950’s, they are to be seen and not heard. Automatic doors that make loud noises as they open and close are calling out for attention. Don’t just ignore their persistent plea for attention. One thing rings true from decades of automatic doors calling out for help is this, the noise never goes away on its own, but only gets worse until the cause is rooted out and corrected.
Automatic doors are very much like “Happy Days” children. If nurtured properly, they turn out to be less problematic. They actually tend to give us more good times than bad. Yes, there will be the occasional problem, but your AAADM certified technician will be just as good as Ward Cleaver in getting the automatic doors whipped back into shape in no time at all.
Automatic doors should be seen and not heard is a true statement. If they cannot be quieted, maybe it is time to adopt new automatic doors and get rid of those unruly old ones.

Tip of the week: Automatic doors should be checked daily for proper operation. If something out of the ordinary is happening, fix it or have it fixed. Don’t let problems get out of hand.
